Goong ob Woon Sen (THAI)

This simple Thai stir-fry combines glass noodles and whole shrimp. The dish is usually prepared in clay pots with larger tiger prawns or freshwater prawns and topped with soy sauce, black pepper, coriander and ginger, while variations may include bacon slices, oyster sauce, garlic, shallots or different herbs and spices.

Although the dish is believed to have been created under the influence of Chinese cuisine, it is now a staple in many seafood restaurants in Thailand.
