Portuguese Baskets with Egg Cream


  • puff pastry dough - 1 sheet
  • milk - 16,90 oz
  • sugar - 1 cup
  • flour - 2 tablespoons
  • egg yolk - 4 pcs.
  • vanilla - 1 pc
  • cinnamon - 1 stick
  • lemon peel

Lightly roll out the dough, roll it into a roll and cut it into 1 cm thick rings.

Place each piece in a muffin tin and form a basket.

Separate a little from the milk, add the flour, and mix it into a paste.

Put the rest of the milk on the stove with the sugar, cinnamon stick, and a piece of lemon peel.

After boiling, add the flour, stirring constantly. Remove it from the heat and allow it to cool slightly, then add the beaten egg yolk in a thin stream.
