Salsa Verde (MEXICO)


  • 5 tomatillos (green tomatoes)
  • 1/2 bunch fresh coriander finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of Garlic
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1-3 Jalapenos depending on how spicy you want it
  • Salt
  • olive oil

Slowly sauté the tomatoes, onion and jalapenos in a preheated skillet with a little olive oil for 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes add the garlic cloves and continue cooking until the tomatoes are lightly browned.

Remove from the heat and blend the ingredients in a blender with the coriander and salt.

If you want a thinner consistency, add a small amount of water.
