Salsa Verde (MEXICO)
- 5 tomatillos (green tomatoes)
- 1/2 bunch fresh coriander finely chopped
- 2 cloves of Garlic
- 1/4 onion
- 1-3 Jalapenos depending on how spicy you want it
- Salt
- olive oil
Slowly sauté the tomatoes, onion and jalapenos in a
preheated skillet with a little olive oil for 5 minutes.
After 5 minutes add the garlic cloves and continue cooking
until the tomatoes are lightly browned.
Remove from the heat and blend the ingredients in a blender
with the coriander and salt.
If you want a thinner consistency, add a small amount of
water.
