Cod Fish with White Bean Ponzu Sauce


  • 4 cod fillets
  • 1,1 lb fresh white beans
  • 1,1 lb tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 sprigs of thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 4 teaspoons Ponzu Orange

Place the cod in a flat bowl, add 2 teaspoons of Ponzu Orange Soy Sauce and marinate for 30 minutes.

Tomatoes are quartered and the stems are cut. Onions are peeled and cut into slices.

Beans, peeled and halved garlic, thyme and bay leaves are put in a saucepan. Add water to cover it and cook for 40 minutes on medium heat.

The oil is heated in a pan, add the onion and fry for 3 minutes. Add the tomatoes and let it cook for 20 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add beans and 2 teaspoons of Ponzu Orange Soy Sauce and cook for 40 minutes.

When the beans are cooked, the cod is cooked in slow fire (steam) for 7-8 minutes.
