Mondatido (Spain)
- 8 French baguette slices
- 8 slices serrano ham
- 8 slices mozzarella cheese
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
Grease both sides of the bread slices with olive oil.
Sprinkle one side with salt and pepper.
Place sliced tomatoes on the side sprinkled with salt and pepper.
Add mozzarella and serrano ham over tomato slices.
Bake the montaditos in an oven preheated to 358°F until the cheese melts and the bread turns golden.
Serve hot.
