Pa amb Tomàquet (SPAIN)


  • 4 slices of farm bread (rustic bread is preferred)
  • 2 ripe tomatoes
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Optional: Additional toppings such as Serrano ham or Spanish cheese


Lightly toast the bread slices on the grill or in the toaster. You can optionally rub the bread slices with garlic.

Peel the tomatoes and grate or chop them with the large side of the grater.

Spread the tomato grater you prepared evenly on the bread slices.

Drizzle olive oil on top and season with salt and pepper.

Optionally, you can add additional toppings such as Serrano ham or Spanish cheese.

Serve Pa amb Tomàquets immediately and optionally with garnishes such as olives, cheese, cucumbers.
