Theta Burger
The Theta burger is the name of an Oklahoma specialty that consists of a loaf of bread and a meat patty topped with hickory sauce, mayonnaise, dill pickle slices, and shredded cheddar cheese. The burger is believed to have been first made at the Split-T restaurant in Oklahoma City, although some claim it was invented in the 1930s or 1940s by Ralph Geist, owner of the Town Tavern in Norman, Oklahoma.
