BEET WITH MUSTARD SAUCE



  • 6-7 beets
  • Half cup of black rice
FOR SAUCE
  • 3 tablespoons of grain mustard
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • Half a glass of olive oil
  • Salt, pepper
FOR THE TOP
  • 1-2 sprigs of spring onions

Boil the beets, peel and slice them. Put the rice in the pot and add enough water to cover it by 2-3 inches. Then boil it slightly. Drain excess water, if any. Combine the beetroot, rice and sauce ingredients in a bowl. Transfer it to a serving plate, add chopped onion on it and serve.
