Tutmaç Çorbasi (TURKEY)


  • 0,33 lbs lamb cubed meat
  • 0,55 lbs strained yogurt
  • Heaping tablespoon of flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 cup of noodles
  • enough salt
  • enough black pepper
  • enough mint

Mash the yogurt, flour, egg and water thoroughly in a bowl. Put the butter in the pot, add the lamb and noodles and fry until the noodles are well browned. Then add the yogurt base you prepared. When the water balance is adequate, add garlic, salt and black pepper, stir constantly, and cook until it thickens. In a separate pan, fry the butter and mint on low heat until they start to color. Take the soup into bowls and drizzle the mint butter on it. If desired, serve with the lamb roasted in butter on top.
