Sangrecita (PERU)
Sangrecita is a Peruvian dish consisting of chicken blood sautéed with garlic, onions, and spicy chili peppers. It is traditionally served with rice, corn, or potatoes on the side. The dish is praised because it is high in iron and low on cost.
Although it can be consumed on its own, sangrecita can also be used in numerous dishes – from appetizers to desserts.
