Rin-ran (Spain)


Rin-ran is a variation of the popular pipirrana salad. This humble Spanish dish is made with salted cod strips or scraps, potatoes, garlic, cumin, olive oil, paprika, and a hard-boiled egg. Once prepared, it can be served as tapas, starter, side dish or main course.

Originally, rin-ran was prepared by field workers in the countryside. This salad should always be served cold and can be garnished with olives or spring onions.
