Poulet Basqua (Basque chicken)


  • 1  leg with skin
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 canned tomatoes
  • 1,69 oz chicken stock
  • 1,35 oz of water
  • Salt
  • black pepper

Chicken is seasoned.

The pan is heated, oils are added. Chickens are cooked for 6 minutes on medium heat.

Chicken thighs are taken aside, julienne chopped onions, garlic and peppers are taken to the pan and cooked.

Liquids are added and left to cook.

When the chickens are cooked, they are taken out and the remaining sauce is cooked until it thickens.

Chicken and sauce are served together.
