Mushroom Dill Rice (THE TURKISH REPUBLIC OF NOTHERN CYPRUS)
- 2 spoonful butter
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 onion
- 10 mushrooms
- 2 cups of rice
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 3 glasses of water
- ½ bunch of dill
Take your pot on the stove and heat it.
Take the olive oil and butter in the heated pan.
Add the chopped onion into the melted butter and cook until it softens.
Add finely chopped mushrooms and cook.
Add the thoroughly washed rice to the pot and fry it lightly.
Add salt and pepper and mix.
Add the water and cook on medium heat until it boils, then on low heat until it boils.
Add finely chopped dill into your rice that absorbs water, mix and let it rest for 10 minutes.
