KiwiBurger (New Zealand)


Kiwiburger, created by McDonald's franchise and added to the national menu in 1991, is a specially designed hamburger consisting of 0,24 lbs beef patty, fried egg, beetroot, tomato, lettuce, cheese, onion, mustard and ketchup sandwiched on toasted bread.

The burger was an idea by franchise owner Bryan Old and was delayed multiple times before being released in 2011. Although created by McDonald's, it can now be found in burger joints nationwide.

Patty Melt (US)

Patty melt is an American sandwich consisting of Swiss cheese and an onion-topped hamburger patty between slices of grilled rye bread. The flavorful sandwich was invented in California in the late 1940s by Tiny Naylor, the owner of   Biff's   and   Tiny Naylor   restaurants. It is believed that the dish served as an inspiration for the famous  tuna melt , using tuna as a substitute for the hamburger patty.   Tian bu la are Taiwanese fish cakes made with soft white fish fillets, eggs, and a thick dough containing either potato or tapioca flour. The generously seasoned mixture is poured directly into the hot oil, then deep-fried until golden brown. Fish cakes are usually shaped into long and thin cylindrical forms, but are sometimes flattened into thick, round discs.
