CLOSED HAMBURGER


Ingredients for the Bread

  • 1 cup of milk – at room temperature
  • 1 heaping tablespoon of dry yeast – 0,011 LB
  • 1.5 tablespoons of granulated sugar
  • 4.5 cups of flour
  • ½ cup of sunflower oil
  • ½ cup of yogurt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 full pinch of salt

Ingredients for Hamburger Patties

  • 0,132 lb ground beef - one shot
  • 2 tablespoons of ketchup
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper
  • Ingredients for the Inside
  • 3 – 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 onions
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Cheddar cheese – grater
  • Ingredients for Top
  • Egg yolk
  • Sesame

For the bread;

Put milk, dry yeast and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl and mix.

Wait 5 – 6 minutes for the yeast to activate.

Add the flour into a separate mixing bowl and open the middle.

Add the yeast, sunflower oil, yoghurt and egg you have prepared into the flour that you have made in the middle and mix with the help of a fork.

Add salt around the edges and knead until smooth.

Pour about 1 tablespoon of olive oil into the same mixing bowl, put it in the dough, cover it with cling film and leave it for 1 hour.

When the dough is fermented, remove the air by kneading and divide into 0,35 lb of dough.

* There will be 6 hamburger buns in total.

 For the meatballs;

Add the ketchup, salt and pepper to the ground beef in a mixing bowl and knead well.

When your meatballs are ready, divide them into 6 equal parts and shape them into hamburger patties.

Take your pan on the stove and heat it.

Take the meatballs you have prepared in your heated pan and cook them on both sides.

 

To combine;

Take your pan on the stove, add olive oil and heat it well.

Take the chopped onions in the heated pan and cook them until they soften.

Add salt and continue cooking to caramelize.

Remove the caramelized onions to a plate.

Grate the cheddar cheese with the coarse side of the grater.

Take your bread dough on the counter and open it with your hands the size of a dessert plate.

Put the grated cheddar cheese, caramelized onions and the meatballs you cooked in the middle of the dough.

Place the prepared hamburgers on the baking tray.

* There is no problem in touching each other.

Brush with egg yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake in a preheated oven at 356 degrees for 18-20 minutes.
